2003 Charity Foundation Grant |

Again this year, the Trustees of the ACBL Charity Foundation have authorized each member of the ACBL Board of Directors to designate a charity or charities to receive a total of $1,000.00. If any member of District 10 knows of a worthwhile cause that should be considered for the above amount, please submit a written recommendation to me prior to November 1, 2002. Only one charity will be selected. The request must include: The exact name of the beneficiary. A copy of the IRS designation as a 501 (c) (3) organization. The name and address of the person to whom the check should be mailed. In 2000, only one recommendation was submitted. In 2001, I received four (4) applications. Last year no one submitted an application, so no grant was given. The selected recipients for $1,000.00 donations were as follows: 2000 – National Kidney Foundation of Mississippi 2001 – Fayette County (Alabama) Christian Center of Concern 2002 – None Please send recommendations to me at the following address:
