Mid-South Forum Deadlines and schedule change information
At the District 10 Board meeting at the Biloxi 2008 Regional, a decision was made to make some changes to the District 10
Mid-South Forum publication dates
and advertising rates. Since ACBL introduced the new magazine style Bulletin, and
discontinued inserting the Forum in the Bulletin, the Forum has operated at a loss. This is primarily due to the high cost of
mailing the Forum to each ACBL household in the district. The board decided to raise advertising rates 10% and to publish
four issues per year instead of six. Hopefully these changes will eliminate the losses.
Units, clubs and individuals are encouraged to submit articles which may be of interest to all members of District 10. We attempt
to publish as many of these articles
as possible.
The deadlines for submitting articles and tournament ads for the Mid-South Forum are:
April, 2008 issue - February 15, 2008
July, 2008 issue - May 15, 2008
October, 2008 issue - August 15, 2008
January, 2009 issue - November 15, 2008
